Luckily, we have mastered the routine and have found our top three favorite products that double as skincare!

Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint:

This first product recommendation is no surprise if you have ever stepped foot into our store or near a SLFMKR employee. Coming in as our fan and team member favorite, the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint is THE product when it comes to makeup as skincare. Perfect for literally any age and packed with some of our favorite ingredients, this skin tint is an essential for everyday. The formula is light allowing for blend-ability and can be buildable to provide a fair amount of coverage. The finish is dewy and provides a great base to apply dimension through blush, bronzer, etc., or to be worn alone. Either way, the product does a great job of evening skin tone, covering imperfections, but truly letting natural skin shine through. While we couldn’t rave enough about the look of our favorite skin tint, it’s the ingredients that really do it for us. Featuring hyaluronic acid, squalane, and niacinamide, the tint is actually doing wonders for your skin every time you wear it. The hyaluronic acid puts in the work to add hydration to your skin, something makeup is known to do the opposite of. The squalane helps to moisturize as well while also regulating the oil production in the skin. Meanwhile, niacinamide boosts collagen and helps the skin to resurface, fill in fine lines and smooth texture. Not to mention, the SPF 40 ensures maximum protection from sun damage and UV rays. We truly couldn’t recommend this product enough.

Ilia Blue Light Mist: 

Our next recommendation may come as a surprise, however, it is an absolute must when it comes to perfecting your makeup look. While the concept of a setting spray may be completely new to some, it is an important step in the makeup routine that truly cannot be skipped. Not only does it lock in makeup, but it adds extra hydration to the face and helps to blend powder and cream products together. Our favorite mist is formulated with traditional favorite ingredients of ours such as aloe, but the real stars of the show are the Marine Actives which help firm the skin and protect from pollution in the air while Tara Extract helps to diminish the damage of blue light rays from our screens. Not only will your makeup be locked in with a beautiful, radiant finish, but the Ilia Blue Light Mist will truly be a shield to protect your precious skin from the harmful outside world. 

Kari Gran Lip Whip:

Lastly, we couldn’t forget everyone’s favorite step, the lip! While the tinted lip balm is no new product, we would be remiss if we didn’t introduce you to our new favorite in the lineup. When aiming for skin protection, care, and hydration in a makeup routine, it is imperative to find that tinted lip balm or treatment that works best. The Kari Gran Lip Whip is truly the best. Not only does the formula boast beeswax and important oils such as Sunflower Oil and Camellia Oil which help to add shine and moisture to the lips, but the real star of the show is the pigmentation. Each lip whip is a beautiful and unique shade that applies sort of like a thicker gloss but with the pigmentation of a lip stain or lipstick. Instead of having to really build up the color with multiple swipes of a traditional stick lip balm, the Lip Whip is super easy to customize as just a sheen or as a full lip shade. Some of our favorite shades include Jolene which is a bright and cool tone pink/fuchsia shade, Rosie Gold, a most natural ‘your lips but better’ with a shimmer, and Jeannie which is a beautiful berry. The Lip Whip was truly formulated to combine fashion and function and is an absolute must when finding products that are a two-in-one.
