A gentle cleanser formulated with alpha and beta hydroxy acids and adzuki bean powder for dissolving and removing dead skin cells without risk of microtears. Beneficial for mature skin types seeking to reduce thickness of the epidermal layer while increasing production of natural ceramides to hold in moisture. Also works to eliminate pore-clogging factors for those with excess oil production while providing soothing qualities to reduce inflammation and risk of breakouts.
Note: Although this cleanser contains exfoliation ingredients, it does not contain surfactants that remove the essential lipid layer or bactericidal preservatives, which kill beneficial bacteria. Great for use while transitioning away from more aggressive exfoliating cleansers and working to balance skin function.
If your skin does not fall into the category of thick/oily, this cleanser should be used no more than once weekly.
Shake well. Dispense one full pump and warm between hands. Using first three fingers, draw small circles over face/neck/chest for 1-2 mins, adding water as needed to create slip. Rinse well and pat dry. If skin is not thick/oily, limit to 1x/week. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult physician. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct light. Use within 6 months of opening. Sunburn Alert: AHA/BHAs may increase sun sensitivity. Daily sunscreen/sun protection advised.
